Our In-House Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory is capable of performing a variety of diagnostic and specialty tests with fast turnaround time results which will be delivered to you in detail within a reasonable time frame by our skilled Nurse Practitioner.
Our laboratory is CLIA Waived and offers a series of Rapid on the Spot Laboratory testing to diagnose acute symptoms. The laboratory results turnaround time is quick and gives our experienced practitioner the ability to determine treatment while the patient is still present or, at least, within the same day of the visit.
Our patient’s higher-complexity testing is performed by several laboratory centers we are affiliated with. We will collect the testing specimens at the clinic and transfer them to the lab and expect a result turnaround time within 24-72 hours post-testing.
How It Works
- At the point of scheduling your appointment for a blood draw or other laboratory specimen testing, you will be instructed on if you must come in fasting for at least 8-12 hrs. or not.
- On the day of your lab test appointment, come in dressed in comfortable loose clothes in order to grant easy access to the lab for specific laboratory specimen collection.
- Once the lab specimen has been collected, you will be instructed on what the turnaround time will be, depending on the type of test conducted. The lab test results may be rapid or take anywhere between 24-72hrs.
- You will also be given the option of having your test results discussed with you through a virtual/televisit or in-person with our knowledgeable practitioner. Note that certain test results can only be discussed in person, so further workup or treatment plan can be decided between our experienced practitioner and yourself.
