Direct Patient Care
Do I need to have a health insurance to become an iNNOVAFUSION DPC member?
You do not need health insurance for the services you receive from iNNOVAFUSION. Because iNNOVAFUSION is not an insurance model, we encourage our members to purchase catastrophic or high deductible insurance to protect against large, unanticipated costs associated with serious illnesses or accidents.
If I already have health insurance will iNNOVAFUSION save me money?
Many insurance plans have high deductibles and only pay for preventive services after you meet your deductible. With a Strada membership, all primary care services are covered. You do not need to meet a deductible to have visits with your primary care provider for health coaching, weight management, chronic conditions, or acute issues such as respiratory infections. We focus on keeping you well and identifying issues well in advance and help to reduce the costs of unexpected illness.
Please note that your iNNOVAFUSION membership fee does not cover outside specialty care. We encourage you to check with your insurance carrier to ensure your specialist will be covered by your policy.
How does a DPC membership with iNNOVAFUSION save you money?
With the rising costs of healthcare, many are opting for higher deductible plans to keep their monthly out-of-pocket insurance costs low. Unfortunately, high deductibles mean that people are spending thousands of dollars (on top of insurance premiums) before the health insurance begins paying. At Strada, we think that things like annual physicals, standard labs, and simple procedures should be purchased outside of your health insurance so that you never have to worry about the cost of coverage. Our fees are simple, our clinics are accessible, and we want our patients to access care. If you can avoid one unnecessary trip to the emergency room or urgent care, you could potentially save thousands of dollars.

Medical Weight Loss Program
What medications are suitable for weight loss?
Depending on the treatment option, oral medications or appetite suppressants such as Phenetamine may be prescribed to be used with lifestyle modification to assist with weight loss goals. These medications can be collected at any pharmacy of your choice. We do not dispense oral medications in our medical center. IM treatment plans are being administered in the clinic only to ensure the effective use of the treatment modality.
Will I need any Follow-up visits once I begin my personalized weight loss journey?
After the first consultation and treatment plan has been initiated, you are encouraged to schedule a monthly visit (either in person or via telemedicine visit) to determine your tolerance to your personalized weight loss plan, the effectiveness of the treatment plan, and make further lifestyle modifications or treatment recommendations as needed.
Will I be provided additional education and support during my weight loss journey?
During every follow-up visit, we give you tips and information to help you stay motivated and take control of your weight loss journey. We discuss any questions and concerns you may have. You may learn about new meal choices, portion control, and goal setting. If you ever have questions or need support, remember we are only a phone call away.
What are the barriers to weight loss?
Ineffective diet, exercise, lifestyle, hormonal imbalance, stress, sleep, and obesogens (chemicals in our environment that promote obesity). Just as no two people are alike, there is not one specific diet or weight loss plan that is right for everyone.
